Relish Some of the Best Local Dishes in Leh Ladakh
Ladakh is a beautiful region located between the Kunlun mountain range and the Great Himalayan mountain ranges in India. It is called the ‘Moon Land’ and ‘Little Tibet’ and is home to some of the most exotic and scenic natural landscapes.
Leh is the capital town of this beautiful destination and is also a popular tourist destination featuring beautiful lakes, mountain ranges, and heritage sites.
The food of Ladakh is heavily influenced by regions such as Kashmir and Tibet. While dumplings and noodle soup is a traditional dish, there are also nuts, beans, fruits, and momos that make it on the most common dishes of Leh Ladakh. Ladakhi cuisine focuses a lot on hot brews, bread and soups on account of the cold weather.
